All public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible, with ramp access to the ground floor and lift access to the first floor Carnegie Gallery.

Our friendly volunteers are always available to help those who require extra assistance or access to specialist facilities.

You are welcome to bring any kind of mobility vehicle and assistance dogs are welcome. 

There is an accessible bathroom in the Museum's entrance foyer. 

If you’re visiting with a group that has particular access requirements, please let us know and our booking office can assist in planning your visit.

Carers are offered free access to everything available in the museum. Please present your carers' card or companion card when purchasing tickets.
