Featuring shipwreck remains, model boats, whaling tools, and a life-size ship’s cabin, this exhibition invites you to explore stories of Aboriginal shipbuilding, European exploration, convict transportation, whaling, and recent migration.

In this gallery, we hope you will gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of how the sea has shaped the history and identity of Australia's Island state.
